Director, Marketing Analysis in NYC

imagesLooking to hire a Director – Marketing Analysis to join our rapidly growing company, based in New York, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing small company with a great future.

Lead statistical and analytical problem solving for central analytics team supporting the FI vertical. Your focus will be on driving marketing efficiencies and product economics which directly impact the product bottom line. You will have the opportunity to build from ground-up segmentation and targeting strategies, and improve the performance and value of the company’s FI programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • · Develop data driven business strategies through testing, analysis and modeling
  • · Drive the company’s “Test and Learn” agenda. Design and implement tests using the “Design of Experiment” frameworks
  • · Measure success of programs and drive insights in consumer behavior
  • · Identify areas of opportunity to improve ROI of marketing activities
  • · Build business cases and obtain management approval as needed
  • · Work with Statisticians to develop predictive models, quantify and validate value and drive implementation

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • · Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or a similar numerate discipline. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • · At least 8 yr of experience in Marketing Analytics (Acquisition or Portfolio Management) within Consumer Financial Services
  • · Hands-on experience in statistical testing (design of experiments) is a must
  • · Past experience working with large datasets in SAS/SQL or similar software
  • · Able to independently structure analyses, define hypotheses and present areas of business opportunities
  • · Ability to influence and manage external clients
  • · Ability to communicate nuances of complex analysis/models across a diverse organization
  • · Entrepreneurial, highly self motivated, collaborative, keen attention to detail, ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • · Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or a similar numerate discipline
  • · Experience with Loyalty analytics
  • · Experience building statistical predictive models (Regression, Cluster etc.)
