Partner with business areas to understand and prioritize information needs, and translate business requirements into systems solutions. Manage the implementation of system enhancements and new systems through the project life cycle. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes and coordinates the systems development life cycle. Support and assist clients with project planning, project definition and requirements definition. Responsible for analysis, design, testing, system documentation and user training. Act as a liaison between business unit and technical staff, including vendor relationships. Test and implement new releases or patches. Manage the upgrade process in accordance with project methodologies. Train business users on existing and new functionality. Work with technical resources to manage projects and routine application maintenance. Define and document business reporting requirements. Design and develop business reports. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related education/experience. Experience in Project Management is preferred but not required. Experience with data analysis and problem solving. Experience with technical documentation. Ability to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley procedures. Demonstrated ability to understand the role of the system in the big picture and to provide ideas and recommendations regarding the evolution of operations systems. Understanding of physical and financial power generation is preferred.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Identify and document technical system and process requirements for improved operational efficiencies.
•Translate requirements and specifications into applications systems for customer communications documents using HP-Exstream Dialogue and other development software.
• Provide analytical and technical support to Retail Operations teams for analysis of internal business processes and system capabilities to improve accuracy and efficiency related to completion of global issues
• Prepare spreadsheets, graphics, and word documents as required for reporting, analysis, documentation, and presentations
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting from an accredited college or university required.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Proficiency in HP-Exstream Dialogue software and related software tools.
• Knowledge of SAS and SQL programming languages.
•Knowledge of SAP/CCS
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
