Mobile web is becoming a key channel for surfacing immediate relevant content to help consumers save money. As the Sr. Analyst, Mobile Platforms fo you will have the opportunity to revolutionize the mobile retail experience using data to guide thoughtful and innovative mobile web solutions.
The Sr. Analyst, Mobile Platforms, will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Operations and Marketing on the development, reporting, and analysis of native mobile applications, mobile-web, and tablet efforts.
What are you going to do?
- Lead development of mobile metrics, KPIs and corresponding dash-boarding
- Own the monitoring and analysis of mobile metrics and KPIs
- Develop business requirements for technical data initiatives needed to support reporting, testing, and analytics
- Demonstrate ownership of data integrity; Ensure that it supports the analyses and recommendations being proposed
- Take a consultative approach to improvement recommendations through ad hoc analyses and data mining
- Work with Product team to analyze performance of mobile site features
- Work with Marketing team to analyze performance of mobile marketing campaigns across channels
- Work with Merchandising teams to analyze performance of merchant offers across mobile platforms
- Work with Optimization leads to develop, measure and interpret testing results from mobile platforms
- Integral part of the development of a cross-platform customer data store and subsequent insights and segmentation analyses
- Effectively prioritize requests in accordance with corporate goals

Experiences/Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year’s work experience in mobile ecommerce plus 2 additional year’s work experience in a related data analytics field
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, finance, statistics, mathematics or another technical or quantitative discipline required; master’s degree preferred
- High-level proficiency with and relational data concepts
- Excellent analytical skills – ability to understand and interpret data within the context of the business – solve problems and distill data into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication skills – this position will work directly with senior leaders in the organization and will be tasked to communicate complex technical findings in an easily digestible manner
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Intellectual and analytical curiosity – initiative to dig into the “why” of various results
- Excellent project management skills including the ability to formulate and drive detailed plans and key performance indicators
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Desire to learn new technologies and grow analytical skillset
Ideal Candidate has experience with:
- A mobile data environment performing analytics and/or statistical analysis within an online business unit or at a consumer internet company
