Director, Data Scientist
Our client is seeking world-class dynamic Data Scientists to join our Science team that drives transformational change through evidence-based decision making at the company and in the industries that it operates.

Ideal candidate should possess:
• Very strong background in one or more computational areas (Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Computational Linguistics)
• Proven facility with multiple modeling techniques
• Exceptional programming skills in one or more platforms
• The drive to deliver on commitments and an openness to new ideas
• Master Degree (Preferably a PhD)
• 10+ years of relevant experience (will be flexed for exceptional candidates)
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Understanding complex business challenges, designing scientific solutions, manipulating large data sets, using cutting edge machine learning or statistical modeling techniques and synthesizing insights
• Building scalable solutions that create great business impact
• Strong and effective communication (both written and verbal) with colleagues and business leaders
Project Manager, Data Analytics & Modeling
Plan and perform model governance and model validation audits and special reviews and assist in data analytics reviews. As the role of data governance, data integrity and model governance becomes more critical to supporting and advancing the regulatory, governance and business objectives of organizations, the Audit Department provides assistance to our clients by conducting control reviews that address management’s objectives ranging from business processes to application and technology infrastructure design to data integrity validation. Internal Audit is looking to expand their current analytics capabilities for more sophisticated coverage of processes involving large data usage and model building.
Detailed Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute audit projects to review model development and validation processes.
• Review and assess the model design and validation work performed by other departments in the Company.
• Participate in projects that examine completeness, validity, consistency and accuracy of enterprise data as it moves from source to reporting, assist in data analytics reviews performed by Internal Audit.
• Participate in working groups related to data controls enhancement and model governance
• Support business management in the design of corrective actions to ensure an effective model risk governance structure.
• Degree in mathematics, statistical data analysis, engineering. Related certifications are a plus.
• Experience in model risk assurance activities and quantitative analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of:
o risk management and the role of models in them
o business intelligence platforms and data warehouses
o current regulatory requirements (data governance, model validation, CCAR)
o control structure
• Strong communication and writing skills
